I grew up in rural Upstate New York and from an early age I was drawn to light, color and the beauty of the natural world.  I always loved art but it wasn’t until my kids grew older that I found the courage to start taking art lessons from a local studio.

Ten years later I am now a full-time fine artist with a light filled studio in an old brick building in Charlotte, NC.  I build up layers of oil paint to compose paintings that reflect my love of luminous skies, country roads and mountain vistas.  I want my artwork to bring joy and serenity to viewers and encourage them to see the world with fresh eyes of wonder.
